a monthly gathering holding space for women of color to be at ease & present in their minds, bodies, spirits and in the world using the healing modalities of meditation & mindful conversations.

each gathering will begin with a mindful conversation on a chosen topic and end with a meditation practice.

sept 8th theme/topic: fear -- what it means to live at/with fear as a women of color, our experiences, our culture, societal norms, etc. recognizing where fear lives in our bodies, our narratives & beliefs surrounding fear and identifying + releasing fear utilizing meditation & breathing techniques.

at ease is curated for & only self-identifying women of color.
beginner friendly & no experience necessary.

dora kamau is the founder of bliss your heart, a self-care and wellness artist and a 200 hr meditation teacher & mindfulness facilitator. unshaken & impenetrable by the qualms of life, dora has used her story of pain and transmuted it to the multifaceted woman she is today. since 2017, she's been creating & holding meaningful space for women to connect & build community in vancouver.

bliss your heart is a women's online and in-person platform rooted in self-love, self-care and mental health. byh is situated in vancouver, bc and creates safe and meaningful spaces for women to be seen, heard and understood through intentional conversations and connections.
